In the news: Birds actively select camouflaged nest material

Our publication‘Birds build camouflaged nests’ makes the morning news. We found that birds nests are camouflaged not simply because the only materials available are similar in colour to the nest site but because the birds actively select material that is the best match to their nests’ surroundings.
